Its ok... I think theres room for a lot of improvement. There are really only 3 different kinds of troops, mounted, spearmen and archers. Kind of like doing rock, paper scissors when fighting although there are 3 tiers of troops; easy medium and hard. I would have liked to see spell casting troops, a mages tower, flying troops, different kinds of castles with troops like demonic, necropolis, barbarian, sylvan, knights, etc. each having their own troop types and magic. Maybe the ability to build a monument or a great wonder. Maybe if they gave the heroes artifacts or weapons/armour to increase their strategic roles. I think heroes should get xps for jobs in the castle; building, building troops, researching, etc. It would be nice to conquer NPC towns or at least raze them or occupy them . It would be nice to buy gems for game resources and if they had an actual market where you could trade resources to players other than just those in your alliance. And to pass gems bought to other alliance members. Also scouting shouldnt just happen automatically, I think there should be a specific troop for it and based on their ability, or the level of the hero and the spy tower etc. would determine the amount of intelligence receivable. Now this could also be affected by a anti-spying magic or monument or artifact controlled by another hero occupying a building used for counter-intelligence. hmmmm! I guess theres a lot to think about...
